Megan Molten’s Sully Sanctuary

Step into the enchanting world of Megan Molten’s Sully Sanctuary. This project is a breath of fresh air and one of my best discoveries this September.

The game room is my favorite, it immediately grabs your attention with its stunning white and sky-blue stripes that gracefully extend from the walls to the ceiling, creating a grand, airy atmosphere. Above, a white layered cylindrical chandelier with pointed edges adds a touch of elegance and refinement. The tan diamond-patterned woven rug harmonizes beautifully with the golden accents and green upholstery on the seating, crafting a delightful symphony of colors that feel both surprising, charming, and magical.

When I first saw images of this interior, it was love at first sight! It immediately resonated with me.

I soon realized that the color palette in the space closely mirrors that of my painting, “Blue Sky Perfection” pictured above. I always get a thrill discovering these kinds of synchronicities. With this painting, I aimed to capture feelings of optimism, adventure, and excitement when embarking on a new road trip. Prints of this piece can be found here.
