Abstract Art Inspired by Interior Spaces

Interior Designer Spotlight: Carley Summers

In the enchanting realm of abstract art, I find my greatest inspiration in beautifully designed interior spaces.

One designer who I admire is Carley Page Summers, renowned for crafting sacred sanctuaries that nurture healing, comfort, and growth. As she poignantly notes, “What’s fascinating about home is that it represents the spirit of your struggles as well as your healing.”

As an artist, I deeply value salubrious living and believe that our home environment profoundly shapes our well-being. My aim is to create art that serves as a reminder of the peace found in the wilderness.

Carley’s living space featured above, incorporates a harmonious palette of blush pinks, soft greens, golden tones, and creams. From this enchanting color scheme, I crafted an abstract landscape painting titled "Desert Flora" which pays homage to Summers’ design philosophy.

The enduring plant life captured in my painting symbolizes the spirit of resilience in an often extreme and unpredictable desert climate. Every hue invites viewers to meander through a desert scape that is a celebration of life and the quiet strength of the human experience.

If you love the art of interior design as much as I do, head over to Carley Summer’s website and instagram page today.
